About project

This is the official trade management information system of the Bank of Lithuania for euro coins and numismatic valuables. E-commerce online and physical sales at cash registers are performed on the basis of the SystemSight e-commerce software. The solution covers the entire trading process from order to delivery (issue) of goods and accounting.

Functions implemented in e-commerce system:

  • Catalogue of goods and stock taking;
  • Product pricing management, discount system;
  • Specialised ordering limits for goods ensuring control of trade in coins and numismatic valuables provided for in legal acts;
  • Personalised e-mail messages to buyers;
  • Order administration: reception, editing, creation of new orders, issuing status, assignment of responsible staff;
  • Payments (Paysera, VPO);
  • Generation and accounting of invoices;
  • Returns and accounting for returned goods;
  • Registration of customers, authentication by means of SIRIP, customer database;
  • Customer account, review and management of completed orders, review of invoices, processing of personal data;
  • Workplaces for trading at cash registers online;
  • Choice of goods delivery methods, delivery price spreadsheet;
  • Automatic courier call, the creation of accompanying documents, tracking delivery of the consignment and informing buyers about the delivery status;
  • Tools for the analysis of reporting and sales statistics;
  • Data exports to various formats.

The following integrations with internal customer and external service providers’ information systems have been implemented:

  • SIRIP identification service;
  • Information system for settlements in euros from the Cash Department of the Bank of Lithuania (KDIS);
  • Paysera electronic payment system;
  • Financial management and accounting information system (Navision);
  • Courier services (LP express) information systems.

The following services were provided during the project: Design of the implementation of technical architecture and functional requirements of the solution, projection and design of the information system user interface, programming of adaptive user interfaces and website, programming of the information system components and functionality, creation of individual electronic commerce management system, implementing integration with customer’s internal and external systems, the performance of testing, installation of e-commerce software in the customer’s infrastructure, search engine optimisation, preparation of educational material, training for staff of institutions. Development, maintenance and aftersales services have been provided.
